We would like to congratulate Dr. Blake Hyde on becoming a full partner here at Alpine Ear, Nose & Throat!
Dr. Hyde joined our practice in the summer of 2016 and quickly became an essential member of our healthcare team. Originally from Hastings, NE, he developed an interest in medicine while obtaining his bachelor’s degree in biology from Creighton University in Omaha, NE. He then went on to earn his medical degree right here at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Hyde completed his 5 year residency training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center – a program known for its surgical case volume and breadth of training in all aspects of Otolaryngology – Ear, Nose, and Throat surgery.
As the newest physician at Alpine, Dr. Hyde has provided the latest clinical and surgical practices to serve patients in all areas – including pediatrics, sinus and ear disorders, head and neck cancers, disorders of the airway and larynx, as well as, facial trauma and reconstruction. Dr. Hyde also performs tonsillectomies with the Coblator — a newer technique for removing tonsils and adenoids and is accepting new patients in both our Fort Collins and Loveland locations.
Outside of practice, Dr. Hyde enjoys Colorado’s beauty and outdoor activities with his wife and three children. Having played in college at Creighton University, his favorite sport is baseball and he loves following the Rockies. In his spare time, his hobbies include skiing and fly fishing; however, he values any adventure with his family above all.
We at Alpine Ear, Nose, & Throat are honored to welcome Dr. Blake Hyde as a partner in our practice and look forward to continuing to serve patients in Northern Colorado with the highest quality of care possible.
