Charles Gast, M.D., PhD
Dr. Gast joined Alpine Ear, Nose and Throat in September of 2023. Prior to joining, he completed residency at the University of Wisconsin and obtained his MD/PhD degree at Oregon Health & Science University where he identified a novel mechanism by which macrophages promote progression of cancer. He also spent five years researching mechanisms of virulence and drug resistance in fungal pathogens, and received his B.A. from Lewis & Clark College in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. As a physician with Alpine ENT, Dr. Gast practices the entire breadth of Otolaryngology, including pediatric, sinus disease, head and neck cancers, disorders of the airway, facial reconstruction, functional rhinoplasty and facial trauma. Dr. Gast was born and raised in Ft. Collins, Colorado and enjoys skiing, mountain biking and golf with his wife and three children.
