Jatinder Shokar, Au.D.
Audiologist
Dr. Shokar has been familiar with the world of hearing loss from an early age because of her younger brother’s hearing loss. Dr. Shokar is an Army veteran. As a Blackhawk helicopter crew chief and mechanic, she became well acquainted with noise and how noise exposure can impact hearing.
Dr. Shokar earned her Doctor of Audiology from Central Michigan University and her Bachelor of Science in Audiology & Speech-Language Sciences from the University of Northern Colorado. Her externship was at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center, where she focused on adult diagnostics, tinnitus management and vestibular evaluations.
When she is not at work, Dr. Shokar enjoys snowboarding, ice hockey, hiking, reading, motorcycle rides and spending time with her husband.
