On Saturday, February 16th, Alpine Ear, Nose & Throat was honored to host the first free annual head and neck cancer screening event in the new Cheyenne clinic. The event took place throughout the morning and early afternoon, with both Dr. Robertson and Dr. Hyde making themselves available to evaluate patients with various concerns relative to the topics of ear, nose, and throat. Patients were welcomed on either a walk-in basis or by previously scheduled appointments and were given the opportunity to discuss each of their individual needs with the doctors and their medical assistants. During the screening event, the doctors were able to identify multiple cases of possible cancers and inform patients on the best ways to proceed with further medical evaluation and treatment. For some individuals, the event allowed them to gain piece of mind that no further action was needed or simply to receive answers to their questions and concerns.
In addition to the success of the event, Alpine Ear, Nose & Throat was also able to welcome some new patients into the Cheyenne clinic. Opening its doors on January 2nd of this year, many patients who previously traveled to Northern Colorado to see our doctors, were gracious to find that we are now able to see patients every week from our Cheyenne location. Alpine Ear, Nose & Throat is proud to be serving the community of Cheyenne and hopes to continue free head and neck cancer screening events in the future.
